Cecilia Ordóñez París (Pamplona, 1949) is a Colombian sculptor and ceramist whose practice stands as a key contribution to contemporary ceramics in the country. Her work explores the relationships between form, material, and process, combining traditional knowledge with rigorous formal research. Throughout her career, she has developed a distinctive language based on repetition, assembly, and modular construction, where clay becomes a medium to reflect on structure, time, and transformation. In addition to her artistic production, she has played a significant role as an educator, influencing several generations of artists in Colombia.
