Statement
Iuso develops his work across diverse formats, often blending painting, writing, drawing, and objects. On paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, or metal, he writes and paints texts about his life alongside visual forms, from ornamental to abstract. His work includes pen drawings and relief painting, capturing both volume and visceral expression. Text serves as direct, unflinching communication, recounting personal anecdotes, emotional states, and reflections on art, life, and identity. Beyond self-reference, his work examines human experience, masculinity, and middle-class Argentine life over the past fifty years.
