Bio
Jessica Schneider Amat y Leon 1971, was born in Lima, became interested in Italy where she lived as a child for oil painting. Studied at La Pontifica Universidad Católica Del Perú, Parsons School of Design NYC, Urban Glass Brooklyn, Washington Glass school, Berlin Glass.
Jessica has exhibited individual shows at Forum, Habitante Panama, La Galeria,.
He won second place Michel Peru Arequipa award, Oskar kolling New York, Helena Rubinstein NY, Parsons school of design award New York.
Group exhibited at Humboldt Palace Berlin, Dresdner Bank Hamburg, EULAC Hamburg, AIR Gallery NYC. Participated at Art fairs, Este Arte, Parc, BA foto.
Currently works and has her workshop in Lima.
Statement
She fuses in the fire the colors that will contain her time capsules. Keeping and preserving an energy from yesterday, memories found and transformed into interiors of spheres of time that, dilated by fire, accommodated themselves with random / chosen shapes.
On the surface as a set of forms, inside the space contained forever.
It seems taken from inner space.
Encapsulating the ideas that went through her mind all this time catharsis in the confinement.
