Bio

Pedro Medina, Maracaibo, 1990. Painter, Graduate in Plastic Arts, Universidad del Zulia, 2016. His work is located within figuration and naturalism. Highlight everyday scenes, portraits and landscapes. Individuals: Beatriz Gil Galería 2020, MACZUL 2018, Alianza Francesa, 2018 and NGO 2020. Among the collectives: GOMA in GBG ARTS 2019, TIERRA DE GRACIA Beatriz Gil Galería 2019, Salón Jóvenes con FIA. Honorable Mention, 2016. He has exhibited in Germany, Mexico, Colombia, Mexico, Aruba and Ecuador.

Statement

The main theme of my paintings are the human dynamics that surround me in conjunction with the landscape in which I move. I am also attracted to the internal and external worlds, discovering their value and my place in them. I believe that my work can serve as a document that portrays the time in which I live. I am strongly motivated by the feeling that each moment is extremely important and that it holds a mystery that I want to discover. My intention is to share that feeling and discover it in community.
