The Trace of Rome" is a project commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome, a key institution in the formation of Spanish artists and intellectuals. This project, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Spain in Miami, is presented at Pinta Miami 2023 and highlights the work of seven former fellows of the academy. Through this exhibition, the aim is to celebrate the influence and artistic legacy of the academy during Miami Art Week, showcasing the diverse creative and research facets of its residents over the years. "The Trace of Rome" represents an alternative and meaningful way to honor the contribution of the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome to Spanish art throughout its 150-year history.
