Liliana Porter (Buenos Aires, 1941) has exhibited her work in more than 35 countries and in over 450 group exhibitions, including at the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, New Museum, Museo Tamayo, Blanton Museum of Art, J. Paul Getty Museum, CentroCentro (Madrid), among others.
Statement
Active since the 1960s to the present day, Liliana Porter is undoubtedly one of the most notable and prolific creators in the contemporary art scene. Her works form a vast body of work developed through the experimentation with various mediums, including printmaking, drawing, photography, painting, video, and more recently, theater.
