Statement
Statement – Floralia
In Floralia, each image is a celebration of the vitality that persists beyond the ephemeral. Flowers, leaves, and dried fragments, collected over time during my walks and throughout everyday life, are transformed into new compositions where what has withered gives way to what is emerging.
The act of gathering, preserving, and recomposing these materials is also an intimate dialogue with nature. What once blossomed comes to life again in another form. Like the ancient festivals held in honor of FLORA, goddess of flowers, spring, and fertility, these still lifes seek to pay homage to them through the joy and beauty they convey.
