Ciro Palacios (Lima, Peru, 1943)
Bachelor of Arts, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru; Master of Interactive Communication, Autonomous University of Barcelona; Master of Philosophy, National University of San Marcos, Lima; Doctoral Studies in Philosophy, National University of San Marcos, Lima.
He represented Peru at the 2nd American Biennial of Graphic Arts, Cali, Colombia (1974); 2nd Latin American Visual Arts Encounter, Havana, Cuba (1973); 2nd and 3rd Coltejer Art Biennials, Medellín, Colombia (1972, 1974); Sculpture for the Peruvian Pavilion, Osaka World Expo, Japan (1970); 10th São Paulo Art Biennial, Brazil (1969); 2nd Ibiza International Art Biennial, Spain; 2nd Lima Biennial of the American Painting Festival, Peru (1968). Grand Prize of the 2nd Lima Biennial, American Painting Festival. For 30 years she dedicated herself to university teaching, rejoining the art scene in 2018 with a memorable exhibition at LA GALERÍA.
