Rafael Rangel's recent work opens to a new, more expressive dimension, with great formal freedom, a vibrant and energetic palette, and firm brushstrokes and painterly and carbon clay. His paintings and sculptures create sections and accumulations of organic forms rich in textures that, when interlaced with the paste of crayons in oil, create accents of color.
