Statement

“My painting doesn’t represent: it leads. The hybrid bodies that emerge—imperfect, intense, contradictory—embodi the tension of existence.
Within that tension appears an involuntary, almost biological humor, an irony that destabilizes and reveals the humanity we try to hide.
The work is a pulse, an energy that transforms matter and simultaneously exposes us. I paint that instant where the mask shatters and the essential bursts forth, reminding us how fragile the fiction of being someone truly is.”
