Statement

I work between New York and Panama, my maternal family's homeland. My work is informed by my clinical practice in psychoanalysis. My practice, then, is that of accessing empathy and connecting psyches through love.
I'm interested in the Americas as a body that contains a history of migration and multiracial experience. Driven by the multiple and intercrossed histories of the region, as well as by my family's immigration and diasporic experience, I turn to my biography and my community to speak from the soul's place within the present, the historical and the metaphysical.
