International Guest Curator
She works as a curator, researcher, and writer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from UERJ and a Master's degree in Social History of Culture from PUC RJ. Additionally, she directs the organization Lastro, which promotes creation and learning processes centered on the art of the Global South. Her curatorial work began in 2003 and includes a wide range of exhibitions, residencies, publications, research, networking, education, coordination of residency programs, lectures, national and international awards, as well as the organization, cataloging, and mediation of collections. She recently received the annual University of California Regents Lecturer 2023 award, given to international professionals from various fields. Between December 2020 and January 2024, she was the Chief Curator of the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. Currently, she is the Coordinator Curator of Inhotim.
