Clau Cebrian
Bio
Photography is a for me a form of life, as a way to be part of the world.
I focus on human beings and how they relate to nature, just like Mother Earth.
From documentary, to conceptual and portraiture.
I’m concerned about global warming, protecting the ecosystem, inequality, what’s superfluous versus genuine.
As well as violence inspired social hatred, beliefs, fashion and how they permeate our daily lives without even noticing.
Statement
Subtle Surrealism
My photography emerges from an eclectic and timeless perspective, where the old meets the contemporary. I explore the space between photography and painting, reality and imagination, creating images that invite a second look. Color and black and white are part of my visual language and personal search: taking the viewer into a space
where time and reality seem to blur.
