Together, they have showcased their work on international platforms including the Intersect Art Fair in Palm Springs and various group exhibitions across Spain, France, Peru, and Venezuela. Their proposal is characterized by an eclectic identity that integrates their Latin American roots with the California desert environment, maintaining a consistent presence in the gallery circuits of the United States and abroad. Represented by GBG Arts, their career is distinguished by a rigorous commitment to research and visual experimentation.
Statement
Their conceptual framework is rooted in solid socio-political research, articulated through a photographic, playful, and minimalist language. By appropriating icons of popular culture—such as the bus, a central axis of mobility and social interaction in Latin America—the duo reflects on the contemporary zeitgeist and the reality of the public sphere. By merging elements of the Californian landscape with references from Latin collective memory, Benaim + Berti create pieces that invite "serendipity" and celebrate life, operating as analytical devices for identity and resilience.
