Bio
In 1983 she received a Bachelor's degree in Painting from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
Since that date he has had 14 solo exhibitions in the most important galleries in Peru.
He has worked as a teacher at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, at the Escuela de Arte Corriente Alterna and at the Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú.
He currently lives and works in Lima.
Statement
Carmen's proposal is vital and contemporary. Its main interest is to evoke the substantial conduct of existence as a celebration of life. The conceptual intention he undertakes determines the direction of his projects, making his work have no limits in the face of technique. Their proposals can move from the two-dimensional to the three-dimensional according to the intention of the sensory dialogue.
