Statement
In the quest for the perfect line and geometric angle to assemble my pieces, the goal of my work is to show the dichotomy that exists between the object and its shadow, the object meaning the incisions that I make on the material I use, whether is paper or cardboard - my preferred recyclable medium - it finds immense joy by observing the forms that gradually emerge on my canvas. A product of my imagination and constant Investigation through the development of innumerable tests and models until arriving at the perfect shape, in wich the line and the angle coincide to form an astonishing visual effect; the latter is put in motion and the light becomes one, as well as the object and its shadow, the object cannot shake the shadow off, the two are one, and for me such encounter of observation is an essential quality of mindfulness when analyzing my work.
