Architect from the Università di Firenze, Italy, specialized in Light Studies from Universidad Católica de Chile and Master in Research and Production in Contemporary Art from the University of Barcelona. His work has led him to exhibit in Italy, France, United States, Argentina and Chile where he has participated in collective exhibitions. Statement
His research stems from a long period dedicated to the creation of site-specific installations. Based on the elements that naturally constitute an environment such as light, shadow, water or air, his installations aim to transform space into a place charged with multiple meanings.
Scognamiglio covers the territories of space and emotions. The symbolic universe created by the artist immerses the visitor in landscapes of deceleration and contemplation. Once this silence has been reached, it is possible to reflect on our own essence and look again at the invisible.

El artista busca conectar un riguroso estudio de ingeniería con la poética de la fragilidad humana. Delgadas líneas de bronce, reducidas a su mínima sección, presentan fisuras de luz, reflejos y sombras.
