Statement
My work starts from observing everyday life, looking to find within it forms, light, textures and relationships that can become an image on their own. I am interested in the precise fragment where forms find balance, harmony or tension, independently of the object they come from. I mainly work in black and white because, by removing color, photography is reduced to its essential elements: form and light. I look for images that do not need to be understood, but simply contemplated; images that invite the viewer to stop and get lost in the play of forms and tones, and that can create an emotion without the need for an explanation.
