Statement

My practice brings photography and ceramics together in spatial constructions where the image functions as a trace and matter as a genetic residue. I explore domestic materialities, historical archives, and forms of art to recognize gestures that oscillate between strength and vulnerability, between emptiness and material presence. I seek to capture what I recognize as my own, though distant: to take what constitutes me and, at the same time, let it go. At this intersection, ceramics provide permanence and opacity, while photography acts as a flash that records the coexistence of light and darkness.
