Jorge Pedro Nuñez, Caracas, 1976. Currently lives and works in Paris, France.

Statement

Jorge Pedro Núñez's works are fundamentally conceived as relational devices: assemblages that integrate the history of modern art, especially its abstract-geometric strand, with diverse elements of everyday life. His pieces are created using a variety of media, including collages, sculptures, installations, assemblages, and paintings, and constantly allude to multiple conceptual universes, exploring issues related to local and universal cultural and historical narratives, as well as the political realities of Venezuela and the world.
