Statement
Objects are the starting point of my work: triggers of ideas and bearers of stories that connect past and present. I choose them for their expressive capacity and multiple readings. In Los Dones, the jingle bell brings together cultural crossings, Argentine poetry, and William Morris’s utopia of a design for everyone. I see myself as a chronicler of my time: I observe, read, and step back to express what surrounds me. I use geometry, figuration, and materials according to what each work needs, without limiting myself to classifications. I am interested in my work being understood today and in objects opening up new ways of reading our time.
