Statement
Andrés Wertheim’s photographic practice explores the boundaries between reality and imagination, combining documentary observation with conceptual experimentation. Through multiple exposures created directly in the camera, he brings together paintings, sculptures, and museum visitors, creating scenes in which different eras and realities coexist. In other series, he projects images onto faces and bodies, exploring identity and the multiple layers of perception. His work invites viewers to question how we look, what we see, and what remains hidden within images.
