Sole Di Lollo

Bio

She is a visual artist and photographer. She trained as an architect at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, her hometown. After becoming a mother, in 2017 she began studying photography with Inés Miguens and Ángela Copello, and continues her training with Ana Sánchez Zinni.
Her work explores themes linked to motherhood, home, childhood, the body, the passage of time, bonds, and memory, using color and natural light to build narrative images that stem from her intimate, family space.
She has taken part as an exhibitor in group shows and currently belongs to the collective Estudio Punto, together with Maru Tombacco and Paula Palavecino.
In September 2025, the exhibition Umbrales was selected to inaugurate the visual arts cycle of the Subsecretaría de Cultura de San Isidro, and was also presented at Conventillo Boulevard Sáenz Peña through March 2026. In May 2026 they presented Alquimia in the Visual Arts cycle of the Concejo Deliberante de San Isidro

Statement

As a visual artist, through photography I explore themes from my most intimate universe: motherhood, home, childhood, the body, the passage of time, friendship, abandonment, and grief. I delve into myself because giving shape to these concerns brings light and clarity to who I am, and I invite whoever looks at my images to approach them from their own sensibility.
I use color and natural light as my main tools, sometimes relying on artificial light to control the atmosphere. Each exploration begins with a doubt or a detail that catches my attention.
What began as a way of documenting my children's childhood became a mirror that reveals myself to me.
